Rajasthan Royals (RR) is an IPL team represents the Rajasthan state of India. Rajasthan is the team that is from the starting of the season and the first-ever team to wins the IPL trophy. In the recent auction of IPL 2020, Rajasthan Royals bought 14 players in their squad and release many players. Rajasthan is the team that bought the maximum number of players in this IPL.

Rajasthan changes more than half of their squad this year. Robin Uthappa, Ankit Rajpoot, and Jaydev Unadkat are the highest-paid players for Rajasthan this year. All three are sold in 3 Cr in the auction. South African batsman David Miller also joins the squad, a young Indian all-rounder Yashasvi Jaiswal is a surprise pick and bought in 2.4 Cr. 

Rajsthan picks many youngsters in their team and forms a new young team. Akash Singh a medium-fast bowler of age 17 is the youngest pick in this IPL. Karthik Tyagi is also a young 18-year fast bowler pick by Rajasthan in 1.3 Cr. Australian Andrew Tye is in the squad for 1 Cr.

Rajasthan Royals team -

Rajasthan is the first team to wins IPL trophy for the first time when they beat Chennai Super Kings in Final 2008. This is the first and last time Rajasthan enters in any final because after season 1 downfall of the team starts. Rajasthan Royals has the quality of batsmen, bowlers, and world-class allrounders.

A batsman like Steve Smith, David Miller, Josh Buttler, Robin Uthappa is in the lead role for the team. Allrounder Ben Stokes, Shreyas Gopal, Rahul Tewatia manage the team with both ends. Rajasthan has world-class English Bowler Jofra Archer, Andrew Tye, Tom Curran, Ankit Rajpoot, Jaydev Unadkat.

2 years Suspension - 

In the year 2015, a suspension ban was indicated to Rajasthan and the team suspended for two years i.e. 2016 and 2017 along with Chennai Super Kings. Ban was implicated due to the fixing of matches. Later then both the team was released and back to action in 2018.

Rajasthan only enters 4 times in playoffs, in season 1, 6, 8, and 11. The performance of the team is not up to the mark and the team didn't perform well in a few years.
